
Home Alone Moments
During the pandemic, as people spent more time at home and online, and alcohol consumption soared, we identified an opportunity with Schweppes. Our objective was to engage consumers, enhance their at-home moments, and inspire them to create fine drinks easily at home. This led to the creation of an unforgettable livestream event, coupled with compelling online and print activations, leaving a lasting impression and adding cheer to those uncertain times.
Our Goal
With meticulous planning, we crafted the "Enriching Home Alone Moments" campaign featuring three distinct activations. Leveraging our expertise in live events and content creation, we pioneered an on-site event live-streamed into homes, showcasing Schweppes' unmatched quality and tonic advantages.
This live event served the dual purpose of not only engaging live stream viewers but also generating communication material for various online and social media planning. It proved especially valuable during the pandemic when productions were limited due to restrictions, extending our reach to various Schweppes global markets and connecting with consumers worldwide.
Live-stream Event Activation
Collaborating with Twitch, Doctors Without Borders, and the prestigious At Six Hotel, our livestream event was an extraordinary showcase. Rebecca & Fiona's rooftop DJ performance set the stage, complemented by live-streamed cocktail mixing sessions throughout the entire stream, with breaks highlighting the creation of six exceptional drink recipes to infuse the flavors of spring into homes.
Additionally, 13 emerging music artists delivered captivating performances, enhancing the overall experience. We featured interviews and live chat sessions with various experts, Doctors Without Borders, and celebrities in the art and music scene. Through a moderated chat, we increased engagement by addressing viewers' questions, making the livestream a multidimensional, informative, and captivating event.
Our online and social media activations featured six captivating cocktail films, cinemagraphs, photos, and engaging copy, showcasing the art of mixology with easy-to-follow recipes for home recreation. This high-quality content was adapted for diverse channels, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and online platforms. Successfully utilized, this content package resonated across Schweppes' local and global social media channels.
Print Activation
With the livestream event being part of our 20th issue launch celebration, we dedicated an exclusive advertorial to highlighting the drinks created, the live-stream event, the talented artists, and the engaging interviews. This print activation provided a tangible keepsake for our audience, inviting them to relive the magic and discover even more of what happened behind the scenes.
